Scholarships

The primary program of the School of Dentistry is the Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD).

The Doctor of Dental Medicine is a four-year, full-time professional degree course.

The course commences in January and each year is of 48 weeks duration.

Following successful completion of this course, the graduate is able to register with the Dental Board of  Australia as a dentist and enter the profession immediately.

 There are two entry levels:

 School Leaver Entry*

  • applicants offered a place on one of the school leaver pathways have a guaranteed place in the DMD on the condition of completing a UWA undergraduate degree with a minimum GPA of 5.5
  • applicants are only eligible for this entry level if they have not commenced any tertiary studies

Graduate Entry*

  • applicants apply in the final year of their undergraduate degree
