The aims of these awards are to enhance existing dental research strengths in the Faculty and assist the development of a strong research base in emerging areas of research.

High quality research is a major priority for the School of Dentistry. Our research programs have national and international links, and contribute to our basic understanding of oral diseases and to applied aspects of their prevention and treatment.

Many dental research opportunities are available in this expanding field for qualified dentists and those in disciplines associated with the oral health sciences and dental services.

Seeding fellowships are offered to assist in developing a new research area that is not an area of research strength but which the Faculty seeks to build. The duration of these grants is two years.
